Summer Guided Walks

During the summer (July – August) I will be leading a series of guided walks for Dartmoor National Park.

Butterfly Walks

Walks start from Trendlebere Down (lower car park) at 13.30 hrs. on Friday 17 July and Friday 24 July. Approx. 3 hours. £5.00 per adult (under 14s are free)

Wildlife At Dusk

A chance to see badgers, deer and nightjars! Walk starts from Trendlebere Down (lower car park) at 20.00 hrs. on Wednesday 15 July. Approx. 3 hours. £5.00 per adult (under 14s are free). Numbers are limited so please book. Tel: 01822 890414

Wildlife in Summer

These wildlife walks start from Haytor Information Centre at 13.30 hrs. on Wednesday 5 August and Wednesday 19 August. Approx. 3 hours. £5.00 per adult (under 14s are free)

Forest On The Hill Walk

This 5 hour storytelling walk starts from Haytor Information Centre and re-traces characters and settings of Eden Phillpotts’s Edwardian novel. Starts at 11.00 on Wednesday 12 August and Wednesday 26 August. Charge is £8.00 per adult (under 14s are free). Please bring packed lunch.

The Lavender House Hotel, Ashburton

A relaxing three-night (Tuesday evening – Friday morning), mid-week break for ramblers and nature lovers of all ages. These easy-going walks run throughout the year and are designed to provide breath-taking views surrounded by wildlife and history.

Cost is £180 per person with 3 nights for the price of two and includes evening meal, breakfast (local transport).
